LG’S Opus Series | A 1080P I can live with! |
 Anyone who knows me knows I am not a giant fan of 1080p LCD Television. Mainly because the picture on standard cable or regular DVD can sometimes falter. LG S top end Opus Series changes all of that. Not only does it look great with a 1080p source, but actually delivers a good picture on Time Warner Cable, or a Regular DVD player. These are physically beautiful televisions, with rounded bottom and an all piano lacquer black finish, including the back of the set.
This is LG S statement LCD TV, feel free to compare it to that brand that starts with an S and about a 20% cheaper price.

YHT 790 | A killer all in one home theater pack |
 I am not big on all in one box theater systems, but for the person on an entry level budget this is a great looking and great sounding home theater package.
First off, it comes with a real deal Yamaha receiver with real 100watts per channel. Therefore, you can add on additional components to your hearts content. The speakers are beautifully finished in piano lacquer black and are mountable in numerous different positions. One of my favorite aspects of this system is that the satellite speakers are the same depth as most Plasma, or LCD panels which makes for a clean installation. Just add a MX-900 Remote for ease of use, and a good quality surge strip you will have an easy to use great sounding home theater system. |
